About the Observatory

L’Observatoire sur la réussite en enseignement supérieur (ORES) is a convergence point for college and university stakeholders, where the most reliable and relevant knowledge on accessibility, perseverance and student success is shared

ORES is intended to be a vehicle for positive change, helping to build tomorrow’s colleges and universities.

Inform

By providing regular information monitoring, varied publications and diverse mobilization activities, ORES highlights emerging issues and disseminates knowledge that echo the concerns of the higher education community. It summarizes, popularizes and communicates the latest scientific research findings. It also documents promising initiatives by educational institutions to transform them into experiential learning.

Unite

The Observatory aims to adopt a distinctly interdisciplinary and cross-sectoral approach. By creating and facilitating opportunities for exchanges, it fosters enriching relationships between colleges and universities, as well as between the research community and teams in the field.

Engage

By proposing promising courses of action, ORES aims to support teams from Québec’s colleges and universities in identifying the best strategies to adopt and in implementing the most effective measures for developing the full potential of every student.
