The Observatoire sur la réussite en enseignement supérieur is pleased to introduce the members of its 2023-2024 Steering Committee! Following a call for applications, twenty-two individual and institutional members were appointed to the Committee. There is no doubt that their commitment to student success and the wide variety of experiences they share will benefit the development of ORES’ activities.

In the spring of 2023, in the context of an overhaul of the Steering Committee, ORES decided to launch an annual public call for applications. The aim is to foster collaboration with as many higher education stakeholders as possible, and to promote interdisciplinary and cross-sectoral exchanges. This year, more than forty applicants manifested themselves and eighteen new members were selected.

The Steering Committee plays an advisory role. Its members give their opinion on ORES’ general orientations and suggest development priorities. This committee ensures that ORES’ actions are in line with the concerns and needs of Québec’s higher education network.
