Continuing Education in Colleges and Universities: Pathways to Success
Job-related continuing education constitutes a large part of the educational offerings in both college and university networks (Doray and Ionici, 2023). Since data on continuing education is scarce (Martel, 2023), these infographics aim to provide preliminary insights into the profile of students registered in these programs, whether credited or not, and on the conditions of access and retention in continuing education programs.
Addressed primarily to continuing education program managers, these two infographics (one for college continuing education and the other for university continuing education) are based on findings from research on access to continuing education and on data from a survey commissioned by the Commission des partenaires du marché du travail in 2022. They provide greater insight into the reality of students in order to adjust the services offered and the program modalities accordingly.
